April 12, 2011 at 1:30 amOop, did I just say William and Sly 2? YES! Haha, I’ve actually started it and now that I’m making a post about it I’m going to feel obligated to finish it.

Here’s the newfangled Sly. I’m doing it in 3D because I want to do a lotsa lot of animations and I love animating in 2D about as much as swimming in a sewer. (Which means not at all, in case that wasn’t clear…) I used to do 3D all the time when I was a kid so it’ll be nice to actually use those skills for something. I was a little unsure if I could make something good enough to fit with the other graphics I have planned, but I think this turned out really nice!
I’ll give a plug to Blender here since that’s the program I’m using. It’s actually really amazing; it’s completely free and pretty much industry standard in what it can do (meaning cloth, hair, fluids, etc). This model I made renders instantly so I’ll be able to render the animations really quickly which is nice. You can see I even used hair on the chest and tail! Everyone should go try it out! :D
Well that’s it for now. I need to update this thing more, lol…
I’ve been playing Azurefish for the last 3 days and i Cant. Stop.

Are you expanding on the storyline of the first game at all? Will there be more characters? I envision a world of William and Sly with its own story. So many possibilities and directions to go in. I’m looking forward to your sequel.
I loved your first game, I played it whenever I needed to chill out and relax. Can’t wait for the sequel!

There’s definitely going to be more story elements. I’m thinking lots of strange creatures and uncharted territory. :)
There’s a possible art book in the works to go with the game, too, so we’ll see how that goes.

I remember playing William and Sly for the first time and I thought it was one of the best underrated games I’d ever seen. Great work, and I’m looking forward to the sequel! Hopefully it’ll have even more gameplay time and new beautiful elements to it. Also, 3D?! I’m so pumped.

I played the first game of William and Sly. I tried to find a second part, but there wasn’t one…
At last I found this little notice of a next game! I’m so happy because of that.
I don’t care if the game comes in one month or one year; I just know surely I’ll play it like te first, as long it takes to be finished. I’m a patient person.
And…thanks for the first game, too for the coming second! I’m interested in see that 3D, for the moment I liked how looks Sly with that effect.

For a William and Sly three… And yes I know my mythic creatures very well… You can take all the money from making the game FOR SURE but I’d really like to play something my dream you know? I just LOVED the first William and Sly game, and when I found out that there was a second one, I went and played it, and it’s even more spectacular than the first one(Which I did not know was possible)!
The art is great, and the way it is lay out is awesome!
